SixMap Raises $7M to Redefine Attack Surface Management and Accelerate Go-to-Market Growth

New Capital Expands Access to Trusted Visibility Platform that Helps CISOs See What Other Cyber Tools Miss
Columbia, MD– SixMap Inc., a provider of advanced attack surface management solutions that protect some of the world’s largest government and corporate enterprises, today announced it has raised $7 million in a funding round led by IAG Capital Partners, with participation from TRE Advisors. Existing investors DataTribe and California Innovation Fund also participated in the round. This brings SixMap’s total funding to $22.05 million.
SixMap addresses one of cybersecurity’s most foundational challenges: lack of complete visibility. According to the EY 2025 CyberSecurity Study, 66% of chief information security officers (CISOs)are worried that “the cybersecurity threats their organization is facing are more advanced than their defenses.” Additionally, 73% of CISOs surveyed in the 2024 Red Canary Security Operations Trends Report say their attack surface has widened in the past two years. SixMap’s technology, powered by computational mapping, delivers complete knowledge of the enterprise attack surface from the view of the attacker. It goes far beyond the thousands of common ports most tools scan to continuously map more than 60,000.
“We’ve proven to the most security-demanding organizations that SixMap provides visibility that others miss,” said Jason Kaplan, CEO of SixMap. “CISOs know their current tools leave blind spots. SixMap closes that gap. This funding allows us to scale faster, expand our go-to-market team, and bring true visibility to more organizations that can’t afford to settle for incomplete data.”
“IAG invests in deep-tech companies solving the most challenging problems,” said Dennis Sacha, Managing Partner at IAG Capital Partners. “Complete visibility into your attack surface is a pain point that SixMap solves with a level of precision and scale we haven’t seen elsewhere. SixMap’s traction in federal and enterprise markets is just the beginning.”
With demand for more advanced attack surface management (ASM) surging, SixMap is uniquely positioned to lead a new era of cyber defense rooted in continuous, comprehensive visibility. The new funding will support aggressive go-to-market expansion, product innovation, and team growth.
“DataTribe looks for companies that can fundamentally shift how security problems are solved and SixMap is one of them,” said Mike Janke, Co-Founder & Managing Partner at DataTribe. “The opportunity in front of SixMap is massive. CISOs are demanding better visibility and SixMap’s technology doesn’t just meet that need, it redefines what’s possible. We’re excited to continue collaborating closely with the SixMap team to help build a world-class cybersecurity company that is poised to make a difference in how organizations understand and secure their digital environments.”
